I first heard of the books in 2012 when I was at a book store buying some Twilight books. A girl there recommended The Infernal Devices. I was interested in reading them, but I didn't read any of the books till August last year. I started with the first book of The Mortal Instruments. I think I liked the series when I first started, but I don't think it was till book three that it became one of my favorite series.
