Cassandra Clare confirmed via this Tumblr post that Ty is autistic. cassandraclare.tumblr.com/post/85738401319/ty I never suspected he was autistic though he said some inappropriate things [example: If we all die here, it'll be your fault] and just shaked Helen's hand when she left. I look forward to reading more about him in The Dark Artifices.
